The craze is the pointy stiletto nails which is a trend I’m still favoring at the moment. I did the rockstar manicure on my nails with “Midnight Swim” shellac and blue glitter! It’s actually a spring color but I feel like its a little dark for spring so I will be getting back to my pinks and corals next week.

Happy Easter! I created my basket below with a few homemade treats and thrifty purchases from Tj Maxx (I love digging around in this store)! I wanted to share with you that thinking outside the box or should I say basket, will open up cute and clever ideas to surprise your kids or loved ones with on Easter. I’ve always considered it to be thoughtful when someone is crafty enough to create a beautiful basket or gift for special occasions. It just adds a little extra touch of LOVE! I purchased the box (which can be used after the goodies are gone to store photos or anything you desire), the note pad with pen & bow, bubble gum pearl balls, pink grass, and candle all at Tj Maxx. The rest of the stuffers I made minus the cute peeps!

Hi Ladies! As we know aging gracefully is hard enough and I’m here to tell you that drinking from a straw will speed up the wrinkling process. I don’t always sip from straws but if I’m trying to save the lipstick from fading or smearing I have been known to sip from one every now and again. Oh, and lets not forget the occasional cocktail that is served with a straw. You see we are all guilty of drinking from straws at some point. Well the jury is no longer out, the constant pursing of your lips will cause wrinkles around the mouth over a period of time (kind of like smokers lips). I mean let’s be honest we are all vain to some degree so try and avoid drinking from a straw as much as possible or your date with juvederm will come sooner then later!

Spring is amongst us and so is Easter! Opi launched their spring line and “Suzy’s Hungary Again” is the color I’m wearing below. It actually looks more peach in person then the camera is reflecting! A great spring color for all skin tones!

There is a time to be matchy-matchy and when chillin’ or leisurely lounging its not the time! Have fun with your patterns and mix and match. I could live in leggings without a doubt because they are stretchy and super comfortable. I also like wearing hats for a fun look but they come in handy when your having a bad hair day too. Oh, and lets not forget sneakers …I was born in heels but since I discovered these wedge high tops they are on my feet more then heels at the moment. Life is stressful enough and fashion is expression so have fun with your clothing!
