Chalk Drawings

Denver has its annual Chalk Art Festival every year that showcases artist talents. It’s produced by the Larimer Arts Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting arts awareness and education in Denver. I stopped downtown to walk amongst all the incredible drawings which are truly amazing. It’s so wild how they turn a boring piece of pavement into a work of art with chalk. Avid street painters will tell you, this is performance art, where the process of creating the work is more important than the finished piece.
