Fuel Your Day

Kick off your morning with a healthy breakfast to get the fuel you need to have a kick ass day! See, I don’t always eat unhealthy I have my splurge moments throughout the week but most of the time I eat pretty clean 😉 egg whites with green bell pepper and shallots, sliced heirloom tomato with a thin slice of fresh mozzarella, and crunchy hash browns. Just eat small meals all day and control your portions. Keep the metabolism burning and burning and burning the calories!

Honey Glazed Salmon

I’m a fan of fish especially Sea Bass and Black Cod (MY FAVS) but my third choice is Salmon! I like salmon smoked, cooked, canned, all kinds of different ways! It’s a nutritious fish high in protein, and “good fats” and one of my favorite ways to serve salmon is by creating this simple glaze below:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
1/4 cup of honey
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp melted butter
salt & pepper
sprinkle with pecans
Salt & Pepper Salmon. Mix the fist 3 ingredients in a bowl. Coat glaze on top of Salmon. Sprinkle with pecans. Pop in oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with roasted asparagus or veggie of choice. The glazes sweet taste combined with flavor of the fish is INCREDIBLE!

Protein Pancakes

Protein Pancakes! Now you can eat a pancake and get your protein all in one. First you take the ingredients below…Quaker Oats, Honey, Orange Extract, Protein, & Egg Whites

Now you mix in a bowl
3/4c of Oats
1tbsp of Honey
1tsp of Orange Extract
1 scoop of Protein
1c of Egg Whites.
Spray pan heavily with pam cooking spray. Pour mixture in bowl into pan and let cook on medium high eat until golden brown then flip.
Once cooked on both sides I take a drinking glass and cut out perfectly round pancakes for presentation as in the picture. Although, you can eat the whole pancake. I then drizzled with syrup of choice and eat! Healthy and delicious!
