Confetti Apple Dunks

Sometimes its nice to break away from the traditional carmel & candy apple and try something new like maybe a confetti apple! What’s a confetti apple you ask? Well, in a simple answer its an apple w/ icing & funfetti. Fit for a kid but fun for an adult. 🙂
8 flat wooden sticks with rounded ends (popsicle sticks, I compromised with skewers but probably not kid safe)
8 small apples
1 (15.6 oz) container Pillsbury Confeeti Funfetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting
CUT 8 (8×6 inch) pieced of waxed paper. Insert 1 wooden stick into stem of each apple.
REMOVE lid and foil seal from can of frosting. Microwave on HIGH for 20 to 30 seconds or until frosting is smooth when stirred.
HOLD 1 apple over large bowl, spoon melted frosting over apple to coat. Stand coated apple upright on piece of waxed paper. Sprinkle apple with candy bits provided with frosting. Repeat to coat remaining apples and then get your SUGAR FIX! Any extra you can leave out at room temperature or store in fridge. I prefer the fridge.
