Bored With Your Look?

If your anything like myself then you probably easily get bored with your day to day look! I’m always wanting to change something wether its my hair color or style but it doesn’t always have to be a drastic change to give yourself a feeling of newness. Sometimes all it takes it a simple change with accessories and wa-la you have yourself a fresh new look for the day. You can wear your hair up and add a headband for a pop of color, straight, curly, combed forwards, backwards off the face, or hats and glasses. Don’t forget to switch out your jewelry it expresses personality and enhances your outfit and look! You can be subtle or be bold but sometimes its good to be daring! 🙂

Suede Leggings & Fur Vest

Don’t you just love this time of year? The cool weather approaches and you get to wear layers and boots! I love it and all the holidays that come with it. FUN! FUN! FUN! I’m addicted to wearing leggings because they are just so easy to slip on and comfortable. Plus, they look cute with almost anything! You can wear a vest or over sized sweaters and look flirty and stylish (I like to call it cute not trying to be). I paired the black suede leggings with a plain black t-shirt (you could always through a pop of color on) and added an off white fur vest on to pull together the fall look (don’t worry PETA its not real fur)! Oh, let’s not forget the peep toe black suede boots and the gold accessories. 🙂 It’s a simple yet polished look that you could wear day or night!

Striped Maxi & Jean Jacket

Just because the weather is cool doesn’t mean you have to burry your maxi dress in the back of the closet until next spring! Keep an open mind when your starring into your closet trying to figure out what to wear. I’m sure you have a few articles of clothing you never imagined wearing together and I bet they would look great on! If you have a favorite maxi dress or any dress for that matter that’s sleeveless or half sleeves you can throw a jacket over the top to create a fun look, plus it helps you stay warm. It’s nice having layers because when you walk into a warm building you have the option of taking the jacket off so you are more comfortable. Also, I paired the maxi with a pair of slouchy boots to finish off the fall look. Now you have turned your summer maxi that you would normally wear alone with a pair of sandals into a fall look and created versatility with what you already own in your closet. Keep an open mind when getting dressed the possibilities are endless! 🙂

House of Harlow

I’m obsessed with accessories and a fan of the House of Harlow line! I don’t have as large of a collection as I would like but what girl does? One can never have enough accessories! House of Harlow is Nicole Richie’s line and she carries some pretty funky pieces along with handbags, sunglasses, and shoes . You can find most of her of accessories at Nordstrom or you can shop online for more of a variety. I bought this wishbone necklace which is gold plated with crystals and it comes on a really long chain. I happen to wear a lot of gold and I needed a long necklace to pair up with solid color outfits. Plus, I was sold on the necklace because a wishbone represents a wish or a dream and I have plenty of wishes and dreams that I hope to come true!
P.S. Her prices are pretty reasonable 🙂

100% Girlie Girl

Some things never change and here is proof…HeHe! I dug this picture out of the archives. It’s fun looking back at old baby and kid photos of yourself and taking a stroll down memory lane with your Mom. She says I have always loved dressing up and use to try and wear her heels at the age of two. I’m sure most little girls are like myself but it never changed as an adult! I still love to dress up and apparently I wasn’t camera shy then and I’m definitely not camera shy now! I think I was like 10 in the picture on the left and now at 34, I’ve still got the hand on the hip with a big smile to boot. Cheeeeeeeeese! 😉 Dressing up and putting yourself in the highest of spirits never gets old. I think its important to allow yourself the few extra minutes it may take to get dressed daily so you can feel confident in yourself to tackle your day! ~Be Bold, Be You~

Cropped Jacket, Boots & Knee Socks

Are you going to be wearing a dress this season? It looks plain by itself but you don’t want to pair it up with a belt? Well, throw on a cropped jacket! It adds a little something extra and it accentuates your waistline. Also, cropped jackets allow you to wear your sleeveless summer dresses seeing how they cover your arms. The seasons are changing so I paired my tweed cropped jacket with a lace dress, knee socks and slouchy boots. You could wear the socks above the knee like below or scrunched below the knee. As, you can tell I shop everywhere! If its cute and I like it…I buy it! Keep an open mind and don’t limit yourself to several brands or stores. Your possibilities are endless when pairing outfits by shopping at different stores and seeing what they all have to offer. 🙂

I love accessories! You would never hear from me, “I’m good I have plenty of accessories, thank you though”. Nope, I would never say that! I just love wearing jewelry and layering jewelry. Jean Jacket & Jeans

Denim! Denim! Denim! Don’t worry the 80s won’t be calling asking for their Denim back. Denim is in! It doesn’t matter how you choose to wear it, just break it out or go buy it and wear it. You can wear baggy jeans, skinny jeans, boot cut jeans, wide legged jeans, jean jackets, jean shirts, or a jean romper. It’s such a great casual every day look. Below I’m wearing skinny jeans, with a crochet top, and a jean jacket. You could wear a bold solid color shirt under the jacket or a silk shirt. I wanted to wear my crochet top before it get’s to cold and I paired it up with a pair of slingback heels or you could wear a closed toe heel too. Simple & Fun Look! 🙂

Leopard Print & Skinny Jeans

Leopard and other animal prints never go out of style! Your basically purchasing timeless pieces when purchasing quality clothing and prints. I placed a leopard shirt with dark blue skinny jeans, and nude heels for a simple yet polished look. Silk shirts are huge this season, so I was excited when finding this leopard shirt in silk. You could always dress this look up or down by adding a sweater over the top exposing the collar and cuffs or you could add a blazer or vest. I guess it depends where your going or what your doing when choosing your look of choice. Skinny jeans are just one of my favorite cuts of blue jeans. I am working hard at purchasing them in every color and my collection is pretty strong to date. 🙂 They are great when wearing with a solid color, print, boot, or heel. Also, nude heels are a must in every girls closet (they go with everything).
